House GOP ban fed funds for NPR - Weiner Says It's About the Subversive Brothers Magliozzi

In a wrenching decision, the House passed a bill yesterday banning funds for Car Talk and all other NPR programming. The vote was 228-192 largely along party lines. No Democrats voted for the bill, and seven Republicans voted against it.
