Justice David Prosser
This afternoon, the Wisconsin Judicial Commission by its Milwaukee attorney, Frank Gimbel, filed an judicial ethics complaint against Judge David Prosser growing out of the alleged choking of Justice Anne Walsh Bradley back in June just prior to the issuance of the court's opinion upholding the enactment of Act 10.
The complaint filed directly with the Supreme Court, commences a lawsuit leading to a determination as to whether an ethics violation occurred or not. The complaint states that Justice Prosser had previously shown a tendency towards lack of proper decorum and civility by calling Chief Justice Abrahamson "a total bitch" in the presence of the other justices.

The Dane County District Attorney previously determined that no criminal charges were warranted.
