Marinette Marine is planning to add several hundred new jobs at its Marinette shipyard this year as the U.S. Navy last week allocated the funds for two more of the littoral combat ships being built there. The diesel engines for these ships are being built in Beloit, Wisconsin by Fairbanks Morse Engine.
